How do you write in Modern Standard Gothic?
Use of Accented Letters:
Accented letters are in use in scholarship to make abundantly clear the etymology of words. It is not reasonable, however, to use accented letters outside of scholarly contexts. When writing Modern Gothic down, please be aware of this and abstain from accents. It will make your messages look cleaner. An exception is made for â and û for marking length where it would otherwise be unpredictable.
Latin Alphabet or Gothic's?
Since digital support for the Ahsabairka (Gothic's native alphabet) is not good enough yet to make writing in it easy, we only condone using the Latin transcription until a future date when such support is more widespread.
Use of ƕ:
Please refrain from using this letter as it is hard to type for many and is mostly unneeded since most occurrences of the letter can easily and understandably be replace with hw (as is done in every other Germanic language around this time).
